We loved the feeder, so we had to purchase the waterer. The auto fill is a great feature and we never worry about the chickens not having clean water. Our ground is very hard and rocky and the waterer was a little off center, but after a rain shower it was easy to straighten up. We have bantams and larger chickens, so we have a few bricks on one side so everyone can get to the water. If you are ordering for the first time, just invest in both the waterer and feeder!
We didn't think we had critters going after our feed, until we did! These covers are easy to install and keep your valuable feed from going to waste. We keep them in a mesh bag on a tree next to the feed.
This is an excellent additional and reliable water source to our Chicken yard and they adapted quickly!
Our chickens love their new feeder and water silo. What a great purchase!! Sooo much less time filling up because it lasts so much longer. I can go out of town with ease.. AND they stay clean!! A great purchase!! Oh.. and the chickens learned the system so quickly. I was shocked!
Easy to put together and fill, the girls love it. It’s been out for just over a week and so far so good. I love that it’s adjustable as they grow and nothing gets inside it but the chickens.
We just put a 6x6 up to it so they can reach it and it works great. We are able to go camping for a weekend without worry now.
the feeder is great. feed waste problem is gone. birds figured it out within a couple of days. the only issue I had was with the legs. the telescoping mechanism on 2 legs failed, so I used self tappers to hold the legs. the legs could be a bit more sturdy. the hopper is very rugged and should last decades. I am purchasing another 80 lb feeder. this time I am going to try the single post instead of the 4 post.
I was looking for something that I could trust to feed my chicken while I went on a weeks vacation. I had a neighbor check on my chickens while I was gone but I didn’t want anyone going in my coop afraid one of my chickens would get out. This feeder fit the bill superbly. I love the way it eliminates waste and the design that leaves no food unreachable. I love it and my chickens do too. Can’t wait to try the water silo.
I'm very pleased with this product, I do believe they could use some improvement with handles on them to be able to grip them better to clean them especially the water silo. But I have two sets and typically empty the water container and spray it out and fill a big 5-gallon water bottle with it, which helps mix the vinegar up. Could also be a little more sturdier sitting on base, it is a little Shaky. but less food waste and shavings not in water and all nasty is a plus. Would love to see some improvements in these areas, but I still recommend them to my Chicken pals.
Works great to replace the ones we had that were destroyed by a racoon.
I was constantly leaving the hose on accidentally and overflowing, so this has been a huge help.

We researched A LOT before we committed to the Coopworx Silo. We love it. We have ~150 chickens who have a huge run and lots of time to free range. The Silo does exactly what we hoped; the feed is contained, off the ground, dry, and always accessible to the flock. It is less of a temptation for mice and we waste a lot less since the hens can't jump into their food and kick it around. Also, it means picking up 50 lbs. feed bags fewer times since they can just be unloaded and stored in the silo. We'd even like to purchase another one to spread out the flock at breakfast when they storm the Silo like a Phish concert. I love my new water silo! It has taken a lot of worry and trouble away of constantly filling small containers of water. I had a bit of an issue where a valve was slightly damaged and all the water kept draining out. I talked with Tom and he sent out a replacement valve and corrected the problem. Now the water supply for my 10 hens lasts a little more than a week. Plus, the water is always perfectly clean. My little girls love it and learned to use it in only a few minutes. I have seen wireless water level devices online and I plan to try one of those so I will always know when my waterer needs to be refilled. Has anyone else tried one?
I made my own bulk feeder that holds about 60 pounds of food, but I am so pleased with the water silo, I'm going to order a CoopWorx feeder and make a matched pair!

The single post option for the 40 lb. or the 80 lb. capacity feed silo is the most rodent resistant! The metal "Rodent Plate" of top of the telescoping post prevents rodents from chewing through the feeder if they climb the pole and prevents them from getting into the feed ports.
